STAFF ACCOUNTANT

We are hiring for a seasonal as well as permanent position for an Accountant/CPA with 1-2 years+ of tax experience. 

We provide accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals in a variety of industries. We encourage individual development and embrace diversity. We are looking to add to our team for the upcoming year. In this position you will have an opportunity to prepare tax returns for individuals, and businesses as well as the opportunity to do some accounting work for small businesses. 

For the right candidate, we can accommodate a part time or seasonal work schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• 1-2+ years with a Public Accounting Firm
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential data
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and budgets
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work with deadlines
• Proficiency with PC operating system and MS Office
• Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks is a plus but not required

JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare and review individual and business income tax returns
• Prepare payroll, sales tax and personal property tax returns
• Analyze financial transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare financial statement and maintain client general ledgers using QuickBooks software
• Communicate and interface with clients
